Sandals with socks or not?

I just came back from a vacation in New Mexico and it was hot there. I decided I should wear sandals instead of shoes. During a trip to the beach I notice many people were wearing socks with their sandals. There were also people without socks wearing sandals too. I don't wear socks with sandals, I'm not embrassed about my feet. So to all you sandal wearing (and people that don't wear sandals)people, socks or not?

I will if the cut of the sandal allows for it, the sandals hurt my feet, or it's a wee bit chillier out than usual. ^^

Pfft. I'm adding that I've never worn the socks and sandals combo when wearing something other than long pants ;p Otherwise I think it would look odd/silly.

when i am just running around my apartment block i will grab my sandals and put them on socks or not when i go out and its warm enough i wear sandals with out socks to show off my uber sexy feet

I will only wear socks with sandals if I am also only wearing pants. I also wear tabi socks for when I play Kyudo, but that's a bit different...

I never never ever wear sandels but i always wear socks with shoes. Really i dont know i have worn sandels maybe once or twice in my life.

i sometimes wear socks with sandals but most of the time i dont wear them with sandals but when i do i am in a really big hurry like when i want to go to the food court to hang with friends.
