Unknown anime

[Shinkono Kokoro]

Has anyone seen Arjuna? It's a kind of odd anime that I recently found at my library. I've seen about four and a half ((yes a half,...)) episodes of it, and decided that's it's rather interesting. ^_^ I kinda like it even. If anyone's heard of it/seen it, what do you think? I'll let you know if it ends well. It's only about twelve episodes long. Four DVDs. ^_^

I've never heard of Arunja before, your lucky to find it in a library.
The library here hardly has anime stuff.

It's pretty interesting. So this girl, Juna, while going to the beach, dies. Go figure.^__^;; lol. Anyway, there's this kid, chris, who saves her life if she'll fight the Raaja which are earth creatures that are twisted or something by the pollution. it's kinda weird, but then again.... It's anime. lol. Haven't seen any more of it yet, but it's pretty good. Anyway, Juna's having a problem dealing with this so she'll have to learn how to deal with it and eventually get rid of the Raaja I suppose. ^_^

I started it and did not like it for like the first 3 eps it was fine but soon it turned in to a sermon on extreme environmentalism abandon technology nature is good you are evil yata yata....

I've never heard of it, but it's true that you don't find much at the libary. I myself at my libary only found the first season of Ranma 1/2 on vhs, a couple random tenchi vhs, and other stuff.

Lol. Yeah. There is environmentalism stuff in it, but I think it's kind of amusing. ^_^ If you ignore that if you don't like it, then it's a good anime. ^_^

Never heard of it, what kind of art style does it have, coz if it is good I will consider checking it out. If it is about environmentalism, then it reminds me too much of Captain Planet.

It's not like anything, so if it reminds you of something else...you are just fooling yourself.

I saw it a few years back, and I was really interesting. Has a lot of good concepts, style, and a good message, I'd say. Didn't stop me from wanting some burgers though. =D

Judging by responses at other threads, One Piece qualifies here I think. Excellent series that many people in America seem to over-look. Ditto for Detective Conan.
