this one includes 3 major characters of a series thats all in my head
atleast there arent any problems with character clearness or border since it's all in layers ^^;

It looks nice, but I don't like the grids, and the colors on the bottom/left are too distracting... Dunno, but when I look at the wall, the first thing that catches my gaze is the bottom/left part of the wall.
Maybe you could use some faded grids instead of them solid like that.
Oh, btw, I don't remember who you are! lol. Maybe you came when I was gone?
Anyways, the illustration is awesome! Very well done.

yea the bg is a bit outstanding than the characters but it looks good for a cartoonish style wallpaper. hehe my only suggestion is add a small shadow under their feet. I guess.. if it doesn't look good then don't do it. ^^ Also, Welcome back!
