how to close a thread?

By closing, you mean locking? You could ask a moderator to lock a thread.

As Princess Minako and someone else said, you need to contact an admin to have your post closed/deleted.

Note: It is per the admins desire whether or not they will close it. If the admin wishes not to close it, then it will not be closed. If you go to post something which you think might need to be deleted/closed due to its content, you're best just not to post it at all.
