i used to play the yu-gi-oh card game, but quit cuz i was the only girl playing it and the guys saw me as weak. the show sux and duel masters is just a rip off of yu-gi oh card games are stupid and so are the people manipulated into buying the cards

actually duel masters is a rip off of Magic the gathering, the /only/ difference is that you have shields instead of life.


i find that card game shows break the laws of probability to often, out of 6 cards what are the odds of drawing 2 blue eyes, polimerization, quick attack, defusion, and monster reborn like Yugi did? it is right next to impossible.

Okay, about card game shows - I'm really sick of them. Seriously. I mean, there's millions and they're all the same! Like CCS, and Yu-Gi-Oh!. There are lots of similar shows too. Think Beyblades. And those pointless robot shows like Zoids and Transformers. A true shame to anime.

i'm going to agree with red, though i dont particularly like the show that much, (since you need the cards to do anything) its not a card game due to the fact there is not actual playing involved. the cards contain powers that are brought out by Sakura and Lee

Well.. Most of the rules are the same, but some forums have other rules too.
for examlpe. All the forums have these rules.

I just watched a few of those yu-gi-oh GX episodes, and they're actualy more fun then I thought they would be. There's more story in them and less duelling
(there still is a duell in each episode, but at least they don't take 5 episodes per duel anymore).

OK in what way are they similar apart from the fact there both collectors cards? The rules and system are totally different, in MTG you use land cards to summon and use other cards and mana etc... and in YuGiOh you don't need any of that. That's just one example!

To such magic-fanatics, every card game is copied from magic the gathering, despite the fact that magic isn't all that popular in Japan. They have too much card games already, it's like beverages really.

Yeah you are right about that but saying the 2 is the same! I know about the variety of card games Japan has and i'm so envious of it as there are a certain collection of cards i want to obtain!

now yugioh or something like it is very easy to understand
