I listen to ALOT of London After Midnight, but they don't glorify themselves as "gothic" because they hate being labeled. They haven't specified themselves as any type of music. HIM isn't particulary "gothic", they have specified themselves as Love Metal.

Someone did mention Rammstein earlier and they are not gothic. They are more industrial more than anything.

I like Japanese gothic bands. i.e. Malice Mizer, Moi dix Mois, and others..... I like Elegant Gothic Lolita fashion too. Basically, the whole package.

With non-Japanese music, I'm more into metal, industrial, black metal, punk, and some glam.

I don't do goth... it's too much, well yeah, I may have a rel negative mind at times, but gothic is just too much...or gothic music. WAY too much. Heavy metal is good...

Cristina defines her music as gothic metal so yes, Lacuna Coil is gothic
As for Evanescence, they just reach out to the goths I believe
