-Battle system: In FF, you enter your moves and you're done, in LOD, you need to do them to work.
-character design: Dart... is... so... CUTE!
-dragoons: I am well aware that FF had dragoons way before LOD, but they wern't nearly as cool. Warriors with the spirits of a dragon, not to mention the coolness.
-Attacks: Big attacks have something satisfing when you use them, no FF attack has done so yet.
-cutscenes: Mag-ni-fi-cent, absolutely gorgeous.

I just did. Why can no game in the world compare to final fantasy? Seriously, every time I say a game is beter then final fantasy I get verbals assaults that 'no game can beat final fantasy'. Well, guass what: This game did, at least for me. Battle system is way beyond final fantasy, I find the soundtrack better, character design, cutscenes, attacks, all better. Yes, final fantasy is a good game, but it's not holy.
I have this game and pesonally i think it is superior to any final fantasy!

I did enjoy them both, I just found LOD better.

A-men to that, only cause of all those moron FF fanboys who know nothing beyond FF, i mean, like all of them wouldn't even have known what a RPG game was let alone what it stood for. Don't get me wrong, FF games are good but there not the only amazing RPG's out there, i rarely see people name anything other than FF round here, it's like they are all ignorant to the genre!
But for such a great game like LoD it is well deserving of a sequal, always being greedy and wanting more to a game like i am. Cutscenes were very good however they didn't have too many.
i like this game it was realy good excpt i never owned it so i never got around to beating it.

The game is awsome i loved to play it but then when i finished beating the water dragoon it frozed and would go on from there even tough i restart the game and that really sucks!!

well LoD had some great graphics, good gameplay, awsome storyline, sweet battling system. Overall it was just a kick butt game ^.^ i loved it a lot. though the last couple of bosses were rough.

Legend of Dragoon was a awesome game made me mad when Lavitz died thoughbut probley my fave PS1 game next too FF7

Well i just want there to be more to it. FFX didn't deserve a sequal... FFX deserves to be burnt and erased from the pages of history! As for LOD sequal, i dunno about that, it could just be Dart learning more about his father and his past, about Dragoon Knights... a conflict of love interest for Dart.. Shana and Rose or whatever, maybe a new female. Or even remake LOD with updated graphics and FMV's.well....i dunno, i always thought that having a sequel to LoD would just screw up the ending......just like FFX.......
I love Legend Of the dragoon. It's so nice, but sadly I never get to finish it coz my c.d was broken by my little brother.
