Lulu! I've only played FFX and nobody else really did it for me. O.o Lulu rawks
Lulu was the Bondage Queen.
Shadow from FFVI and Edge from FFIV. They were both great, and for different reasons. Edge had some great dialogue that just made me laugh. Shadow was the typical mysterious shrouded person, and when it comes down to it, mystery is just cool. And the story behind him is neat as well. That, and Interceptor was always a great help in battles.

If I had to pick just one.. I would pick Aeris. Self sacrifice is a thing to be respected, and so is acting cheerful no matter how upset you really are... just so everyone else's spirits stay up.

The assassins from Final Fantasy Tactics, Celia and Lede. Cool headed effeciency to their fighting. They can kill with a touch.
Oddly enough, that made them two of my least favorite. Of all the cheap
battles ever, that one was especially painful.
