I struggle to capture your heart's luminescence.
My emotions entangle in a crumpled heap.
These knots of my failures engorge the chagrin
Severing memories my heart scrambled to keep.

A flurry of sentiment afflicting my consciousness.
They fall in deaf ears; an emotional void.
This impotence drowning a hopeful resolve.
My confidence shattered; my hope now destroyed.

Ambivalence suffocating the motivation.
The coloring fades to black, white and gray.
What do you look like?Do you exist?
Where can I find you?The one that will stay.

Bring color to my life; reinvigorate my emotions.
Please shatter this self-loathing; destroy the hesitation.
If you are out there, please find yourself to me.
And please return my courage, my love and motivation.
