Default Interspecies love in Science Fiction/fantasy

Ah yes, they say love has no boundaries for no matter what race/species of being there is.

I remembered 30 years ago when i saw Mighty Mouse The All New Adventures (the Bakshi 80s one)'s episode Littlest Tramp where a sexy blonde mouse woman married a rich human man as they even kissed, Beauty and the Beast TV Show with Ron Perlman/Linda Hamilton (i had a thing for her back then) with Catherine/Vincent (a human woman and a Thundercat-like beast man who was born that way), Alan/Madison in Splash, Handy Smurf and that mermaid, Star Trek The Next Generation (alien species/races of beings with different ones even with human beings), Animalympics's Kit Mambo and Rene (goat person and anthro lioness person) etc. at age 5 being intrigued and fascinated as they showed me love isn't just the same species/race of being for love isn't by appearances. Then later with comics even Marvel on Hepzbiah/Corsair in Guardians of the Galaxy comics, Alien Nation, some Sci-fi and fantasy movies/shows/books, Gargoyles, Sonic The Hedgehog's Sonic/Sally in the comics/show plus many more etc. all did the same.

Marvel also shows it with Beverly Switzler (a human woman)/Howard The Duck (interdimensional anthro duck person), Hepzibah/Corsair (an alien skunk cat furry lady and a human space pirate), Lilandra and Professor Xavier (mutant and alien bird woman), Silver Surfer and Mantis (two different races/species of aliens then later Mantis fell for a tree person) all prove that love isn't just the same species or race of Being.

Now recent examples of interspecies or inter-Being love has been on Regular Show with Margaret's parents one being a human man and one being a humanoid Bird woman and Doctor Who who has a humanoid lizard woman who is a lesbian married to a human woman and both couples are inspiring no doubt as you don't have to be the same race or Species to fall in love and both are Beings no doubt, And you know something? I am very proud to see that fact in Margaret's parents and Vastra and Jenny. It's absolutely inspiring to see that appearances means nothing to Frank and his wife with Vastra and Jenny and Rigby/Eillen one being a mole person and one a raccoon person.

I am very supportive of interspecies or rather inter-being couples/romance in stories even comics/games/animation/sci-fi fantasy etc. but only if it involves a humanoid being, a sapient or sentient being, magical creature being (ala mermaid or gargoyle or vampire or elf etc.), alien being or mutant being which is ok because they can consent but never to a 4 legged regular feral non-evolved non-humanoid non-sapient animal creature like an ordinary feral animal like say an ordinary regular 4 legged Labordor retreiver and a humandoing it with that 4 legged creature for example as that would be beastality since it's a thing that cannot think or consent or have feelings especially romanatic like a Being would and it isn't a Being who has same structures/body build/nor humanoid looking like any Being in general is. Afterall the word "people" just don't mean just human but Beings in general like from other worlds and stuff as it's alright to love a different Being in Sci-fi/fantasy, comics and all that. As i see in Sci-fi/fantasy that inter-species or rather inter-Being love is an allegory for interracial or same-sex love in a way.

There's also Hellboy and Liz Sherman, Star Wars/Trek alien races with different alien being races even with humans, Preston and Carola in Tales from the Darkside the Movie, Vinnie and Charlene on Biker Mice from Mars, Eliza and Goliath on Gargoyles, TankGirl and Booga in Tankgirl comics, InuYasha and Kagome, Mass Effect which has alien races with different alien races even romancing to human beings, Farscape alien beings with different races/species of alien Beings even to humans, Batman and Cheetah on Justice League the 2000s animated show by Bruce Timm, Hana and the Wolf Man in Wolf Children, Roger and Jessica Rabbit, Nick and Judy on Zootopia, Aragon and Arwen (human and elf), Bojack Horseman characters and so much more.

It's like Prince Lir in The Last Unicorn (Seen that movie or read the book folks?) once said when he was told about the lovely gal Lady Amalthea's secret since she is the gal that Lir had been courting/dating/romancing is really a humanized unicorn "Unicorn, mermaid, sorceress, gorgon, lamia, gargoyle, vampire, werewolf, genie, elf...no name you could give her would surprise or frighten me, i love whom i love" and it's one of my fave quotes.

Know any other movies/TV shows/animation/anime/Sci-fi and fantasy stuff with interspecies romance?

It would be a shorter list if we could name the things a human won't breed with.

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

A good example is the Mass Effect games. You can romance a variety of alien races as a male or female, and choose to have same-sex relations as well. I personally find it somewhat disturbing. Even though they are humanoid in shape, for example, sexing up a Turian is like f'ing a lizard that can walk upright. It's not as bad in all science fiction or fantasy set-ups but the further from human they become the worse it gets in my opinion.

What makes those examples even Bojack Horseman's relationships with different species of ladies especially Charolette with Kyle whom one is a deer humanoid woman married to a human man, Margaret's parents in Regular Show, Eliza and Goliath, Hana and the Wolf Man from Wolf Children, Roger and Jessica Rabbit, InuYasha and Kagome, Vastra/Jenny, Catheriine/Vincent in Beauty and the Beast with Ron Perlman, Star Trek etc. no different?

Why should physical forms/shapes matter between consenting adults who are two different beings.

But do you all know what Lir means by his quote from The Last Unicorn i mentioned folks?

You know, that's what bothers me sometimes about some people that look down on furry/catgirl lovers and those that look at an animated anthropomorphic character as being attractive as it being weird or gross. They'd sooner mock that it's an animal before it being a fictional one. These are people that probably watch movies or shows like Star Trek or Farscape, where loving and breeding with other races is common and fans have their favorite sexy characters.

The fact that there's people out there that have the ability to look past a character as being animalistic in appearance and still find something that makes them appealing, even in their personalities, should prove that mankind has the ability to expand and view other sentient races to have an intimate bond with.

Just think, if other alien races were watching us right now, they'd clearly see that the majority of us are not ready to co-exist with them.

Hey don't look at me. I published the only non-art book on Furries out there.

Just ignore them. A lot of animes are based on the idea of dating outside your species. LUCIFER regularly gets laid by humans.

And what about on Bojack Horseman or InuYasha or Regular Show or Vastra/Jenny with Catherine/Vincent in Beauty and the Beast TV show (the Ron Perlman one)? or like say Cheetah X Batman or Minerva Mink with a human man in a story series i'm reading somewhere? and do you think Lir had a point to his quote in The Last Unicorn?

Seriously again it would be shorter to list the fantasy and sci-fi series where this does not happen.
