Is SAO:Ordinal Scale (the movie) the same as SAO Season 3? or is it two different things?

I just saw this at the cinema today. I liked series 1 of SAO (mostly just the Aincrad arc), but I lost a lot of respect for it in the 2nd series and I was disappointed with some of the characters. I quite enjoyed the movie though. Kirito and Asuna have somewhat redeemed themselves and I'll probably watch season 3.
