First, this scan was in B&W at one point in time-- as if you couldn't tell. :lol: Anyway, I colorized the bow and did a few things to it in PSP before resorting back over to Photoshop. I kept the original that I had colored the bow on, added the now redefined scan as a layer under it did a few thing and... well this is what scan looks like now. It's drab and cold feeling because of the story behind the girl. She's in love, but it's... kinda gross; IE forbidden. At any rate, what's what and what needs what?

maybe its just natural grain then, cause the entire char seems that way... to me anyways.

Besides, something about the resize bugged me, so I fixed that as well. Is this any less grainy?

Okay, I screwed up the layer alignment, and it's bugging the heck outta me.

personally I like the first one.... the grain sort of suits the background, but in the darker section the you notice the grain more
...i donno, that's just me

brrrr i dun really like the scan.. compared to the first one its less grainer...though i dun really like grain :X lol

I think that it is very pretty.I think that yes it is still a little grainy though

Okay, this is the part where I ask for help. I've about reached the limit of my abilities on cleaning images up. Outside of Re-CGing the image, what else can I do? What I've done so far is to smart blur it,despeckle, median... I think that's about all. >.>

Anyway, does anyone else have a method to get rid of graininess?
