An Honest Introduction

Hey guys,
Well, I'd like to be honest with you here straight off the bat. I lurked around a fair few forums before deciding to join you guys, and mostly that was because of your classification system by genre rather than series. There's just something about that which is a lot easier for me to understand - this way I can look for more anime of the same genre rather than try a lot of titles. It seems a lot less confusing.

That and the pictures. This is definitely the coolest looking anime forum :P

Oh and I think I read that someone was building a working replica of Edward's computer off Cowboy Bebop? Too cool.

Can I just ask though.. what's the average age of people here? I hope that's not a rude question, I'm 23 and it would bring me great relief to know that there are more people around my age here.

Anyway, what I love to discuss is story arcs, subtleties, and just to analyse the heck out of an anime

I would say the average age for this forum is in the 20's. We have people older than that and people younger than that. I would say for the most part, it's a pretty mature forum here.
And yes, AnimeForum is awesome! :P

Welcome to the forum. If you look at the posts there is usually an Age in the Username so you can use that to gauge the median age of active posters.

I'm one of the moderators of this particular part of the forum, in case you weren't sure ... and basically that means that if you have any questions or problems then you can just send one of us a message and we can try and help you.

Also I have to say that you have to read the rules. ^_^

As for age ... I don't know, but a lot of people here are from the early/mid 2000's. I've been here since 2005, which is scary. I think my age is on my post, though. -shrug.- But don't be afraid of the age of people. A lot of them don't act it anyway. x3
