I spent the day like any other day. I didn't even remember that today was the 9/11 anniversary. I feel like it's too overrated and is starting to become a holiday/tradition. I get that it was a tragedy and people died, but one also has to move on. Masses of people die every day due to unnatural reasons when it can be prevented; sometimes started by the same people that act like they truly pay respects to the dead, especially the dead from 9/11.
By going about my business not caring, just like I did when it happened.
As the great warrior-poet Ice Cube once said, "If the day does not require an AK, it is good".
Um....I played GTAV almost all day >.>
I thi k they make too big of a deal out of it anyway. I mean yeah, it's tragic and all, but it wasn't the end of the world. It happened thirteen years ago, it's time to move on and stop using it as an excuse for war. You rarely hear about almoat equally bad tragedies such as Pearl Harbor and you never hear about attacks from other countries. I'm just thankful that al-Quada didn't go with their initial plan of crashing into Nuclear facilities or we'd all be dead. If anyone finda this offensive, it's my opinion stated with no intended disrespect for the fallen or the families thereof.
My mood on a daily basis
Well, I myself only thought about what happened thirteen years ago. BUT, my Social Studies teacher showed us today's CNN Student News video. I almost cried during it.
And then I had a volleyball match.
Awesome GIF by me. <3
I see all, I know all.

I did like the Brits and maintained a stiff upper lip whilst performing my usual routines and labor.
i slept all day. in honor of those who died
Actually I got through most of the day without even realizing it was 9/11. It was a much more muted event this year.
Hmmm. The first thought that pops into my head is that you probably had to be at least in high school at the time to *get* 9/11. Otherwise you'd probably just remember it as the day all the grown ups freaked out and your cartoons weren't on. Current high schoolers probably can't even remember it at all, they just know the US has been in pretty much constant war for all the time they remember.
And in any case it's still relevant in world events. I mean just two days ago we smoked a bunch of people on the Pakistan/Afgani boarder with a drone. We're gearing up for some more action in Iraq and Syria. And we still have the occasional attack and a few foiled plots most years (and the huge organizations and changes in policy to try and make sure the plots are foiled). I mean that's just the reality of the present and future.
I just go on like it's just any other day
live life to the fullest because you are not guarantied a tomorrow
