Wolf Children [2012 Animated Film]

Hana is a 19-year-old student who falls in a fairy-tale like love with a "wolf man". Over the course of the 13-year story Hana gives birth to two children—older sister Yuki, and younger brother Ame. At first the family quietly lives in city trying to hide their wolf heritage, but when the wolf man suddenly dies Hana makes the decision to move to a rural town, far from their previous city life.

At first I considered posting this in Supernatural because of the wolf aspect but it's also a slice of life and more fantasy than anything really (Note to self: Anime sections need more work). Then I considered posting this in reviews so I could review the show. That area is bombarded with I don't even know what.... o.O and so here we are.

Over-all I'd say if you were interested in a more slower paced anime (or movie) this one is worth a watch. The art is a little mellow and old fashioned and there isn't much dialogue but it's a real tear jerker. Maybe the lack of words is what helps create the atmosphere.

I'd say it would be a 8/10 or so. Definitely a different pace than what I normally watch but it was a pretty good movie. Anyone else see it? Feel free to discuss or contemplate on expanding your horizons and watch

I've seen the movie, really enjoyed it. I enjoy movies like this with a more casual pace.

This move I would rate an 8/10 as well. I can't remember much about it. Although, I love the upbringing of the children. Especially the fact that one child was rambunctious while the other child was always following his mother and trying to find himself in the process. As far as the art work, I really like it because it was so simple and soft colored.
