Saw it coming. Not surprised. Their money-bag will get bigger

: The Game. You just lost it. :
My signature was so old it broke. RIP signature.
Even if it is a remake, makes me regret having to sell my 3DS. These games are always a good time.
As the great warrior-poet Ice Cube once said, "If the day does not require an AK, it is good".
Well, we all knew it was coming, since the pattern is original game-remakes-original game-remakes. Still, I'm looking forward to this a lot.
Oh great here we go again
>Ran out of ideas
>New games just last year.
o.O
Well, I enjoy remakes. Even if it's essentially the same game, playing it with new graphics, storyline tweaks, more Pokemon to utilize, etc, makes it just as fun, if not even more enjoyable than the originals. I never played FireRed or LeafGreen, but I love my HeartGold to death. They usually release new games alongside remakes anyway.
And not to mention, we won't have to worry about that annoying time-glitch from the original GBA games.
People doubted me. Lol, can't wait to pick these up though. Looking forward to them!
Nonon Jakuzure - Best Kill la Kill baePretty damn great! #spoke2soonOta "The Cutest Otaku" 2016 - Lol, how's your account doing lately? Oh wait.
I hated gen 3. Maybe I'll play it, depending on what changes they make.

I already pre-ordered Omega Ruby. x: LOL Now all that's left is to wait for another 6 months.
Why am I not surprised you were one of the first people to pre-order it. Do you even have a 3DS yet? LOL.
@Ωmega Oh good, so I'm not the only one not spazzing out over this. In my opinion, the gens for me were Johto > Kanto > Kalos > Sinnoh > Hoenn > Unova. Although I never played B2W2 so I might be missing out on some of the more interesting features they decided to add later on into the fifth generation.
"Not even fit to share the battlefield with me."
I will probably grab it but my overall feeling about the game is a resounding Meh ^^
The proud owner of the FIRST EVER self-perpetual neko gyroscope!
I thought the 3rd gen. was one of my faves, didn't know some people disliked it. Compared to Gold and Silver, I guess you can say that, but I still enjoyed the crap out of the 3rd gen.

Why I hated gen three-
I thought all the starters were stupid looking. Especially Treecko. Actually, I hated the bulk of the new pokemon that gen. Theres a handful I actually liked
So. Many. Water. Pokemon.
Leveling up took FOOOOOOOOREEEEEEEEEVER
I missed very key items that were available early on in the game that you needed much later in the game....and had to backtrack....a LOT
I hated most of the legendaries
I still think contests are a waste of time
Team Aqua and Magma are stupid. One wants more water, the other more land and both squabble like Trekkies against Star Wars fans. I dont think they ever really explain -why- they want what they want.
Im sure if I sat down and went over the game again I could list more. But it was just slow, lots of water, and grinding your stupid looking pokemon was painful

They may not be most original Pokemon titles (being remakes and all) but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Like, I've never really cared for the Game Boy Advance or DS systems that much, not even for Pokemon. But I do have a 3DS with Pokemon X. I think it'd be really cool if Nintendo did Pokemon remakes all the way back to generation I for the 3DS, preferably with Pokebank support. And just saying, but, I really don't want to buy a used and less supported copy of Pokemon Black or White, just to use Pokemon Transporter, just to transfer some Unova Pokemon to Kalos (Pokemon X). Too much hassle.
You can say Nintendo are running out of ideas; but spare a thought for those who don't necessarily have all the Nintendo handheld systems (going as far back as Game Boy Color here) for all the original versions of Pokemon? Neuooope, I'd rather pay good money for genuine Pokemon remakes for my 3DS any day, thank you very much.
So imma give Nintendo a thumbs up on this one.

Not yet. :c But seeing as how I'm technically gonna be working three jobs soon, I think I'll have it soon enough lol.
It's not my fault, I just walked into GameStop and the guys behind the counter commented on my Pokemon sweater, so ofc I asked them if they knew when they'd be starting the pre-orders for the new games. They said "TODAY!" and we all just sorta went nuts. :B That receipt is going to be hanging from a very safe place on my wall for the next five to six months. xD
I think people didn't care for the starters in gen 3 because they had a completely different style than those from Gens 1-2. I remember as a kid, I saw the first promo for it and thought "wait, are these just made-up Pokemon?" lol. Being a mindless Mareep though, I ended up getting the games and loving them anyway. xD I agree that the designs are a lot different in Hoenn, but IMO they were better than the Unova Pokemon. Besides, some of my favorite Pokemon are from Gen 3: Absol, Jirachi, and Milotic to name a few.
So. Many. Water. Pokemon... Well, no argument there. XD
I never really had a problem leveling up or missing Key Items. A bit of grinding is usually necessary here and there, and imo Hoenn required around the same amount as any of the other games. Besides, I'm expecting the remakes to lower some of levels of the Gym Leaders and trainers, like how they did in HGSS. (Even though in HGSS it's totally unnecessary lol).
Contests were an interesting addition, and I like how it added more aesthetics into the game. And it's not like it's a mandatory part of the storyline. So you can just ignore it if it's not your cup of tea.
The idea behind Teams Aqua and Magma was that they were trying to change the face of the earth, and in doing so, would have most likely killed a lot of people and Pokemon. I do kinda agree that the in-game dialogue seemed to downplay the severity of the situation, but just the fact that they were the first teams to try and awaken uber powerful legendary Pokemon to forward their cause was pretty cool.
Although I really enjoyed gen 3, it did have its downsides. I'll even admit to that. I think the only thing that really bothered me though, was the Pokedex. It was, like, impossible to fill. To this day I have over 200 hours on my Sapphire and I haven't even completed the regional Pokedex yet. :/

Really hoping diving isn't as slow/boring. It had all sorts of potential, and none of it was exploited.
Also, if secret bases don't get passed with street pass...
