One of my friends has a laptop; he can't just go and buy a GTX750. He can't afford a desktop computer at all and doesn't have the space for one, either.
... And yeah, I didn't get an Xbox 360 until September 2010. I was a PC gamer up until then, always playing Trackmania. I never played the Blur beta even though my brother had a 360 and could've played it on his.
I got a 360 to play with some people I met and because the PC community for the game was dead by then. Naturally I'd still prefer to play on PC but yeah, there are generally far more people playing consoles than PC games for whatever reason. More accessability, cheaper, easier... meh.
Since the Xbox One came out I've lost interest in console gaming again. I'll buy one when more games are out (NFS: Rivals, The Crew, Horizon 2, possibly GTA5 on next-gen) but that's only when those games are out and when my friends (who are console gamers) get them. I've no reason to get one otherwise. I don't play fps games so the likes of Titanfall, Destiny, etc don't appeal to me and obviously the only racing games that are out atm are NFS: Rivals and Forza 5.
Waiting for the prices to drop too. Like hell I'm paying £600 for a console. I'm actually going to end up buying a GTX780ti or a 870/Titan II before then.
