Can someone help me find the name of this movie?

Ok, so a few years ago(about 9 actually) an anime movie aired on Adult Swim. I don't know the name of it, and I don't remember much, but all I can recall from it was that it was set in the future, and it revolved around a young male who seemed to be having trouble from the city's law. Also, humanoid robots seemed to be illegal or something, and the young man evaded the law when he saved this one female humanoid robot and I guess he was in love with her because I can remember him risking his life repetitively for her. Also, Frank Sinatra's version of "That's Life" was played in the movie; at least in the English dub that is. I'm sorry that I can't provide anymore details, I only saw it once and that was so long ago. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me with this.

Sounds a little like The Humanoid, but I don't think they has Sinatra on the soundtrack in that.
