No really it is when both series are completely different. There's nothing you really can do but conjecture. So it'd work on Saiya but not Goku then. And I'll admit I forgot that detail but then I rather dislike Death Note so not really going to take the effort to remember every detail.

And the first line it's the ultimate excuse to invalidate any battle. It's silly. You should see anime threads of dedicated people actually discussing these with educated facts.

Doesn't make it any less true. But I'll admit I don't know enough about Saiya. Just that anything I could find on the anime doesn't look that impressive. But you bring up the manga and I have zero clue about it so I'll just step out here. And the vs battles will always be conjecture unless it's characters from the same universe or similar Universes. Like Superman vs Apocalypse.

They aren't facts but they are very educated opinions or arguments in a lot of scenarios (like this one) Not saying you are in this particular argument but it's a damage control excuse I hear when someone can't defend their argument. (quick example; when people try to deny Top-tier Digimon can't beat Top-tier Pokemons)

I do think God-tier Pokemon > God-Tier Digimon though, but gotta do more research.

Nope, conjecture works. Even with educated opinions it's still presumptive evidence.

That said, yeah, I'll admit I shot my foot with this one. But to be fair, you did only focus on speed and we don't have a speed reference in DBZ. Just that they move faster then you can see and it's only natural that increase to who knows what level as the series progressed.

Nope, conjecture works. Even with educated opinions it's still presumptive evidence.
