A/N: Hi guys. I made this as one of my first fanfics, so tell me if you want more or of a different anime or whatever. Thanks for reading! I'll be back.
It was a quiet evening at Yoh’s house.
The ground was scattered with cherry blossoms leaves and their sweet scent hung in the spring air.
“Ahh, this is this life.”, sighed Yoh as he sunk into the futon.
“Yoh-dono,” said Amidamaru, “what will Anna-sama say if she catches you slacking off like this? You know you’re supposed to be training right now.”
“I know, I know, but what harm will it do if I just relax for a few minutes?,” replied Yoh.
Yoh closed his eyes to just rest for a bit. Hours passed. Yoh was awakened by yelling from outside.
“Yoh! Yoh! Anna is on her way! Wake up!” It was Ponchi. Or maybe Conchi?
Yoh was too tired to tell the difference.
All he knew was that Anna was coming and that he’d be in big trouble if Anna caught him sleeping instead of training.
He made a mad dash to the bathroom down the hall.
He tried to put water on his forehead and armpits to make it look like he was sweating.
“A foolproof plan!,” thought Yoh.
He then ran back into the living room and grabbed Harusame off the coffee table.
He hurriedly ran to the sliding door in the kitchen that led to one of the yards.
He slid it open and almost ran straight into Anna, who had been standing on the other side of the door.
“Oh, h-hi Anna!,” said Yoh shakily. “I-I didn’t expect you to be home so s-soon.”
“What were you doing inside?” commanded Anna. “You don’t smell like sweat.”
“Well, ya know, you’re workouts are reallyyy tiring so I just thought I’d take a little rest…” said Yoh shyly.
“Since you were honest with me, you won’t get slapped, but you will have to do an extra two hours of exercise to catch up.”
How had she known what he was doing inside?
Then he saw it. Amidamaru peered meekly out from behind a fence.
“My dearest apologies, Yoh-dono.”
Sigh. Well, he didn’t have much of a choice other than to comply with what his fiancee had said. “Oh, well. I better get started.”
“Probably a good idea.” said Anna. “Oh, and don’t get too tired. You still have to cook dinner.”
Yoh shuffled outside as he heard the door slide shut behind him.
