Disney's Frozen

A movie about cheerful two sisters Elsa and Anna who grew up doing everything together, Elsa the eldest has magical ice powers. However one playful day something went wrong with Elsa's magic that put the youngest sister Anna whom she loves in danger. Frantic the king and queen search to find a cure for her. However this also forces Elsa to try and control her powers and learns that fear can consume her. Apparently her parents forgot that part since all they did was pressure her into concealing it and not feeling it which scared her. So after the unexpected death of the king and queen Elsa becomes queen, something happens and she freezes the entire kingdom and runs away. (basic summary in case for some reason you saw the movie and forgot. Or at least you SHOULDVE seen the movie, the title says there's spoilers)

My thoughts: So I'm a fan of all things Disney and gosh did I live this movie. I loved all the characters and felt connected to them. Ehem except one. Everyone was so modern and relatable unlike most "disney princess movies" Anna was so cute and goofy. The sister's parents though. They handled Elsa wrong IMO. They were the biggest part of the problem. Olaf was my comedic relief ever though. I'm really quite glad Disney is shining away from talking animal sidekicks though. That was always a bit weird. the reindeer doesn't talk, but talks through Kristoff, which works for me as it displays their relationship. THAT PLOT TWIST THOUGH. I never saw it coming. NEVER.SAW.IT.Ending was great though. Loved the ending and how it strayed away from the typical.

I loved the movie. Ive been really happy lately with the new disney princess movies and I sincerely hope they do more like this. Loved the villian too and how underplayed it was, but I caught on pretty quick who it was

Back on topic: The movie delivered. I had the same pleasant feels I had when I watched Tangled.

I love Frozen. <3 I actually had it as my avatar and siggy for a while, Elsa specifically. My friend and I started a Facebook page for it too, specifically for Anna because almost ALL of the Frozen stuff we ever see online is about Elsa and he asked if I would help him with it to try and get more Anna stuff.

Anyways, I thought it was fantastic! It really was the first Disney animated movie in a long time to really have that classic Disney magic feel to it. And the story was just amazing. I'm also a big fan of Idina Menzel, though I didn't know she was in it until I went to see it. It was definitely a pleasant surprise!

Also might I add that I find it hilarious that the friend I happened to go see it with IS Anna. Seriously. Even the Scandinavian ancestry. The only place they differ is that, when they first met Olaf, she would have been the one to be like, "I'm gonna tell him." xD

Well Elsa isn't a villain? She doesn't hurt anyone, at least not on purpose. Everything she has done was out of fear of herself and her powers. The fear that her parents had pushed on her. In "let it go" you got the sense she was less afraid and that's when you felt she truly had the most control over her powers because she wasn't afraid of them. Although she almost hurt the people who were out to get her, rightfully so. She was cornered, scared, and these people wanted to kill her. She didn't kill/hurt them though.

Not intentionally. She didn't even know that everything was frozen until her sister Anna went after her and mentioned it.. She thought it was just frozen up in the mountains where she was.

No, I agree, for the most part it was subpar. Only 1... maybe 1 and 1/2 good songs, a predictable plot, and so on.

Disney already has a series with a same sex couple. There is A B S O L U T E L Y nothing wrong with it either. Most of the people who work for Disney is LGBT, even so that quite a bit of my co-workers at disney were, and if you weren't everyone was nice enough to support their fellow co-workers. Disney also allows Gay Days event within their parks every year when a outside group of LGBT people come to the park on a certain weekend and have some family fun. While Disney does not sponsor this event, they do silently place rainbow themed merch in more obvious places in stores during this particular weekend...

What math? And there were more than 2 males lions in The Lion King. There were 3 lionesses too. 3 lions (Father, Son, and Uncle) and 3 Lionesses (Mother of a son, Mother of a daughter, and a Daughter). 3 + 3 =/= Lesbians.
