You see, that film changed from cartoon 3D form, to "more Japanese".
Is there a word of how you anime fans call such art? The "more Japanese" part?
That is visible on 7:10 (and on thumbnail) but not on 2:10, you know what I mean. Floating hair, gigantic glassy eyes.

I THINK I know what you're talking about. It's just going from in-game graphics/design to GCI/movie graphics. The CGI are just mini-movies and are not playable, hence why they are able to make it look much better. They are able to make it look and flow better too, being able to put movie like qualities into it (like Final Fantasy Advent Children movie). Hence the much more detailed floating hair, skin, movement, scenery and glassy eyes. There is nothing Japanese about it other then where it was made and the style, and the style is purely unique to this game and has no name.

I tend to disagree. I see very often such type of detailed art only within manga/anime games/videos/images.

Same here. It's not unique in this game, there are graphics, films and games where such art were found be me.

However Kingdom hearts was an epic game. There are characters from cartoons, but also characters from other media's.
Maybe they simply created it like this to have a bit of both worlds or something.
It does look a bit like the style in animes at 7:10, but that can just be the way you or I interpret it. Maybe it wasn't a sort of genre in wich these graphics are made, could be just coincedence.

@edit - You played Kingdom Hearts? Me too! I finished KH1 but then, they started making things impossible, more like Final Fantasy. Like cutting through building with Keyblade and things like that. So I dropped session. I will just watch Let's Plays.
