Difficulty using the Chat feature

So I am having difficulties running the Chat feature. I downloaded Java JRE and this is all that comes up when I load it up. The only link is "chat rules"

Tuxedomask Chat requires Java to be run. If this chat does not load then please go to and download the latest Java JRE.

This is because you either installed the wrong version for your browser (both Java and the browser have to be 32 or 64 bit or they won't work together) or you have it blocked/disabled (check your plug-ins and see what's wrong with it).

Even though that's still the official chat, may I suggest you to try and use the new HTML5 based chat that we are developing? Link: https://socket.animeforum.com/unrealchat.html

Also a lot of systems and browsers have been blocking Java entirely. It's one of the reasons we are moving over to a custom chat solution instead of the existing one.

Since we're close to a switch anyway, it makes sense just to use the new chat link that Flash posted up there ^_^

And it generally works from your phone* or gaming console!

* - phones are weird and each handles websites differently; sorry if the connection or UI is buggy

I had an issue with the current chat room on firefox, after sever java installs now it works
