I know of a guy who told me he had manic depression. You know how he got it? He didn't treat his clinical depression. Work got on top of him. He woke up in the middle of the night and his wife thought he was having a heart attack. He ended up in a mental hospital. He regrets not getting it sorted. He came in to talk at my school about it. DesuMaiden may have me blocked, but honestly, if anyone has anything like this go see your family doctor. They will sent you in the right direction. You don't have to tell them about internet habits, but you can tell them you have an internet addiction and don't go out. If they send you to someone, you may feel like opening up to them since they are used to hearing these things.
just because one person says doctors don't work for them, doesn't mean you shouldn't get your butt to one as soon as you recognise a problem. It could be the difference between treating simple clinical depression which can be treated with a course of medication and something like developing manic depression which you live with for the rest of your life,
