i don't know exactly why, but i really like the sound of that sentence. it puts an image in my mind that most people would find horrifying but i find delightful: a family, mother, father, duaghter and son, equipped with talons instead of hands, gleefully tearing at a dead man's corpse and eating his flesh.

i just read The Night Flier by Stephen King so i'm in that sort of mindset.
