This is a new My Little Pony movie where the ponies are made humanoid after walking through some stargate like contraption. I say humanoid rather than human, because they still retain their brightly colored skin and hair, something that is not natural for people, but appears to be the natural colors of the MLP ponies, in both pony and humanoid form.

They do have ponies. It's just that this time the ponies get transformed into humanoids as part of the plot. Aren't you even slightly curious how, or if, they manage to get back to their normal pony forms? I think I'm going to get this when it comes out on DVD, just to see what ends up happening (and normally I'm not even interested in MLP, but this human transformation thing might be a very interesting plot element).

Not really. I'm not that big of a MLP fan, never have been and probably never will be. I only accept it as a good heart warming cartoon that teaches good life lessons to kids, even though it's just a money making ploy by Hasbro. Just like every other series made from or about a toy line franchise.

Wait, MLP is a toy series? I thought it was just a cartoon. I thought any toys that were made about MPL were just merchandise based on the TV series.

I personally love how this series caters to everything the fans ask for.

We thought a pony was Dr. Who.t hey have him a blue rectangle shaped time device.

people wondered about Derpy and she got to talk.

People drew Twilight as an alicorn princess... and she became one.

People drew them as humans and suddenly there they are.

I hesitated to watch it.. Then my sis said I should.. So I did. It was pretty good.
My days as a legitimate brony are gone, but I still enjoyed the movie enough.
