Persona Games

Have anyone of you played this game? I've been wanting to get this game, but I want to hear opinions before getting to it.

Well, there many Persona games released to this day. Here is a list:

Persona
Persona 2: Innocent Sin
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
Persona 3
Persona 3 FES
Persona 4
Persona 4 Golden
Persona 4 Arena (fighting game, set after Persona 4)

I've only played Persona 3 FES, Persona 4, and Persona 4 Arena. But those games are truly amazing in my opinion. If you want to play a Persona game, I suggest play Persona 3 if you like a dark story or play Persona 4 if you like a upbeat, more cheerful yet mysterious kind of story. Oh, and the character in my avatar and signature is from Persona 4 Arena which shows that I really enjoy the game

I've played the same ones as LelaHeart, those being Persona 3 FES Persona 4 and Persona 4 Arena. The earlier persona games are not as popular because it's not until persona 3 that it really takes off as an amazing rpg.

Some things to keep in mind before buying are:
1. The games are very long (80-100+ hrs)
2. They are very text heavy, with quite a number of cutscenes.
3. These are grinding favoured games, with some difficult boss battles. You can get away with avoiding enemies but it's not recommend.

If those things don't bother you, I highly suggest you buy one because they are truly enjoyable.

I've only played Persona 4 Arena which I enjoyed alot as a fighting game, but it is VERY different than the RPG type ones. The RPG Persona games look really fun though!

I see, thanks for the reviews. I will buy this game, and tell you if I like it or not.

I've always liked RPG games like Final Fantasy.

Dont forget that there are other games in the series thats related to Persona. Any game with the name Shin Megami Tensei (dont know if thats spelled correctly) is worth your while, especially if you like Persona. My favorite would have to be SMT: Nocturne.
