Is there a first season to this anime?

I'm not fully sure, but I believe the anime a sequel to the video game. I could be wrong, but I believe it is.

Yeah, you're right. The anime has no sequel but the game does. The anime is based off of a game for the Nintendo DS. You will find both Devil Survivor and Devil Survivor 2 as a game for DS. I think they have spins offs for the DS aswell.

Thanks. The anime series "Devil Survivor 2 - The Animation" seems pretty sweet. Just didn't want to miss out on any storyline that could've been before. I think I've played Devil Survivor on PS2 or something. Haven't played many anime games at all. Mostly Gungrave and Persona. (The Persona 4 has the same storyline in the anime. Persona 3 is definitely something different - shooting yourself in the head to activate a persona. Everyone was just fond of watching me play while they would shoot themselves in the head.)

I just finished watching the 12 episodes that are out today. It's not that great. The first episode is what got me hyped up I guess, with the cell phone app showing a death before it happens, reminding me of that anime where the cell phone diaries tell of the future (which is better).
