Her death and the preceding events were terribly sad and took me by great surprise. I was getting so annoyed with her character but what her father did to her was beyond shocking. I was pretty tore up by how disgusting a person must be to do that to their daughter and I felt pretty bad that i was annoyed by her.

OMG, I am tearing up just looking through this thread without even watching the clips. Such a sook. Ano Hana was quite a tear jerker. I also cried a little in Ano Natsu recently and in almost every Ghibli film..

The first episode of Pokemon is pretty epic. The rain and the spearows attacking Ash and Pikachu. Ash calling them all out and telling them to come and get him. Then Pikachu jumps up and onto Ash's shoulder (the motion slows to capture each character in a pose that becomes familiar to all fans of the show, Ash and Pikachu together ready to take on everything that comes in front of them) then Pikachu zaps em all.
