Unfortunately, I have been infected... Is there a cure? I'm not too sure. There's temporary remedies. Some work better than others, but not always. Is it too late for me? Most likely. So go on! Save yourselves! >_>

i dunno, i find it real hard to be bored with an internet connection. theres so much to do and know and read and play and learn.
As true as that is, with great power comes great responsibility. When one has something as an internet connection, there are infinite possibilities of what you could do. This makes it very difficult to decide what to do. >_>
Oh my gosh! You have absolutely no excuse to be bored.
You live in the Internet age. You have access to almost anything you'd possibly want to know and a machine that can simulate anything you desire. Go learn something, go program something, go draw something, learn a language, go chat with some people, play a game, make a website ...
Here's several examples of stuff to do:

nslay obviously doesn't understand sarcasm.
Anyways, I'd find something to do but ... can't be bothered to fight the epidemic. Guess it means I'd better go back to bed. If it's an epidemic, I better be in bed, right?
: The Game. You just lost it. :
My signature was so old it broke. RIP signature.
even though it's easy to find things to do, at a time when I was feeling depressed I didn't want to do anything, and THAT'S when I was truly bored
so (might not be the case but) maybe you're going through a time when you're too emotionally drained to do anything

Go on Wikipedia and learn something!
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
Boredom is a first-world problem.
The cure? Go live in the third-world.
I find boredom to be an interesting thing. For me recently I've been watching a greater amount of anime than usual due to the simple fact that I'm bored. Then that got boring, I sold most of my games to get a new one that was almost a complete waste because they screwed up the MP beyond comprehension, and I could only play it for like a week before it was just too much crap for me to handle. Now most of my time is spent watching anime and studying Japanese, in fact I reached a record low for time playing video games last week, it was a total 5 hours for seven days.
I find that boredom breeds inspiration. I say this because when you have nothing to do you seek out something to keep you preoccupied. Depending on the kind of person you are this can be something good, like me for example. About two years ago I had the same pattern of being bored and tired with nothing to do (Even though like others said there is never NOTHING to do) so I started studying Japanese language for no real reason. I stuck with it, and now I can read and write almost fluently. I lacked formal classes so I'm not good at deciphering meanings on the fly (Like for instance I can't watch a JP dubbed show and fully grasp it.) however when I get the money for the classes and the time then it should be pretty easy.
My point is that boredom can be good it just depends on how you get out of the down period. More recently since I've moved to Alaska I found that boredom is more frequent, and I think it has to do with the lack of sun during the past six months, and by the lack of something to do. Going outside for a while was impossible because it was snowing 13-15 inches a day. With less interaction depression soon settled in and I found it hard to just get out of bed in the mornings. This would be an example of bad boredom.
So yes boredom is very much like a disease or sickness in the sense that it can be horrible experience. In the worst case scenario it can even be life threatening (Depression leads to suicide in a lot of cases...). On the flip side however it can also be the driving force that changes you forever. It all just depends on how you look at it.
Re-reading over what I wrote I feel I over thought this a lot more than I should have, but I guess I've made my point and it still stands, cheers!
@FreakyTy , I agree with you. Boredom has motivated me to do a lot of things I wouldn't have done normally had I not been 'bored'. However, as you mentioned boredom can be bad as well. "Nothing's quite as frightening as being left alone with one's own thoughts." -Don't know who said it, so I'm going to say unknown. It also really has nothing to do with this topic in all honesty. I just thought of it is all. xD

If you're bored, go for a walk!
Fresh air does the heart good, I always think.
If you need incentive to get out there, make a picnic and find a nice spot to have it!
Oh, and gardening, if you're not an exercise person, is a good way to get fresh air yet be productive! It's really soothing to the irritated soul.
(I never catch onto sarcasm so if you're being sarcastic, I'm going to be sincere anyway :3 )
You are right there. I havent ever understood and will never understand probably how can someone be bored.
I find it other way around...there just isnt enough time to do everything. Theres always more things that i want to do, that i find time for.
And yet, im always multitasking, always doing several things at once... for example, learn language at random points of day. I always have some paper with a language im currently learning, somewhere in my pocket - or a bunch of words written out, for times when i dont do and cant do much else....while standing in bank atm queue, while in shop que....
Reading books when waiting for bus or in the bus.... Googling or answering e-mails when walking...
Always things to do and learn...
wish we could live much longer (or go without sleep).
Plans for today evening and tomorrow:
1. work til a certain time, in same time at work do stupid crap like spamming in forums, answering emails, googling stuff, learning russian of the website www.russianlessons.net .And yes, i do my work still...
2. After work shopping and then gna go home and bake a cake and dinner while watching some movie
3. Probably read a bit of Jo Nesbo "The Snowman" as thats the book im reading at moment.
4. Clean up the house.
5. Do some sales reports for lil business project and e-mail people because of that project.
6. Sleep and chill out
Tomorrow:
1. Swimming
2. Do some work on my bike
3. Maybe plant some flowers or something if weather is okay. If its not okay then i probably end up drawing up some new designs for painted silk scarves that i sometimes make....
4. Going to play a bit of snooker
5. Maybe to cinema and to eat somewhere if still any money left...
6. Organize some of my coincollection
7. Probably a few more things that randomly come into my head as the day goes by..
Boredom is non-existant.
Must love the AncientTechReborn's Dubstep and other apps
AnientTechReborn FTW!
Always sunny day where i am
