Hey! Has anyone seen this music\drama genre anime? Really, one of the better music animes Ive seen. Its made well, and has a good set of characters! I haven't seen much of it yet, but at this rate its becoming one of my top 15!

Main Plot: With entertainment banned on every planet, can AKB rise above the hate and prove to others that music isnt a sin?

This is one of my favorites. I love anything music based, but AKB has a really good plot (despite it's iffy premise) Combine idols with guns and hardships. Almost every episode has at least one unique song and almost every episode someone cries over something or another.

Nope. The anime is obviously based off the band though. Its getting a dub actually at the end of 2013, though its very recent. You'd like it if you're a fan of music genre anime with drama.
