Thought I would submit a few Illustrations I made in Adobe Illustrator. These are all pen tool, fills ,and gradients making up everything to create these images. All of these were done for a friends website as a mascot!

As far as using the images? I would have to reluctantly say no, ONLY because they are being used atm on a friends website as their mascot that he is getting up and running. So I'm not exactly sure if would be wise to start spreading these around. I mainly use as padding for my porfolio, more than anything else!

They're really really good. I've never had the patience to vector stuff The car looks like it took forever! Around how many layers and paths did it run you?
If I had any advice, it'd be to play with the stroke width on the anime girl. But that's more of a preference than actual advice xD
Do you have any larger versions? I like seeing details in vectors <3

Here's a screen shot of one of the images and its layers. I tend to be pretty anal when it comes to building my images, having layers for anything I think I may need to resize, color, scale, etc...there are usually a lot more, layer wise that I will merge based on how much I like the overall look. you can see one of the layers turned off? that was another look I had for the skirt before I went with the plaid look!

Oh I agree on you and the black outline, I need to work on getting a more natural look to it, more practice I suppose?

Which type of illustrations you want to send to your friend ? are you want to send logo, vector designs or want to send animations?
If you want to send logos then i think this website is so good to find the logo and vector designs. Mano Vector . am not sure but hope this will be useful for you. i was found this in google and its really so good.

I would say the hair and clothing take the longest to do, but I would say around 6-8 hours per image on average.
