[Help - Hardware] Headphone Mic Issue

Trying to get it to work but it seems to take the feed from the person on the other end and use that while doing various calibration tests and wont pick me up at all. This is for XP.

Is this for Skype? Also check if the hardware is capable to use with xp. Also check for driver updates, torn wire in cord. Mostly somethin simple.

Anything, nothing picks it up. Doubt it's a torn wire otherwise I wouldn't get audio out of them. And don't think it's drivers since I got them to work a few months ago.

EDIT: OK, I'm just stupid. Had the mic switched off. >.>
