Neil looked across the table at the lovely brown haired, green eyed woman he called his wife. Well, only he called her that. Everyone else called her Annette. She smiled at him, a warm smile that brought him to his feet. He walked over to her, their eyes never breaking, and those deep green pools reflected his image perfectly as he dipped his head to kiss her. Tears sprang from her eyes as she felt the swollen, abnormally purple tongue slip into her mouth. He relished the pain that danced deep in her eyes as his sandpaper tongue slid down her throat.
His yellow eyes, scaly green skin, and inch long claws would be the last thing Annette saw as the creature came bursting out of her husbandís skin.
