Watched it, fell in love. Not only is this anime pretty funny, but it touches on a lot of traditional Japanese superstitions which I thought was cool. And Yuko is AWESOME.
Anyone ever seen it??

Yes. I loved it. Many of their superstitions are similar to us Chinese. So sometimes I'll watch it and think, "Hey! So it's like this actually!" I loved the characters especially Watanuki and Doumeki. I really respect Yuko-san as she's so wise and stuff. Haven't watched xxxHolic Kei yet, will do.
May peace bestow this world,
May our hearts unite.
Life may not be smooth as pearl,
But pray for our decisions to be always right.
Life may be hard, it's a big pain in the butt. But hey, who says behind all those pain, can't hide some happiness ?
Yeah, I learned a lot about superstitions while watching this anime.
It was interesting to see it overlap with Tsubasa Chronicle in some parts.
I agree that Yuko was an awesome character.
'Nother one I read the manga for but didn't touch the anime. oxo
It was pretty awesome though~ Very weird and random. I liked it due to that~

I started watching and got about 3-4 episodes in when I found something else and got side tracked (mirrai nikki). I plan to re visit this series and finish watching it soon
Hoho, thank you for this topic.
Xxxholic is one of my favorite manga.
I've gone and reread almost the entire thing, so the fact that it's episodic is a re-readers boon, as they can skip to their favorite parts without having to tread through a connected and complex plot.
This manga runs off of its characters, and uses the characters to connect the stories together, rather than having a plot connect them. Themes pop up over and over- themes about sacrifice, choice, prices we pay... the stories bring back these themes again and again to change the characters for the better, and change their relationships.
I loved that so much, and the characters too won me over.
They're apparently simple at first glance, but the simple parts of them are interesting- they're a collection of ideas underneath, and on top, distinct personalities. Inward and outward blend together together to paint a picture that's really absorbing!
Ah, maybe I'm being too poetic (purple prose mode fully activated at this point =w=; ), but really, I love this series for saying so much with so little.
Can somebody tell me where I can watch it? I mean the Anime not the manga.

I really like this anime. Yuko is awesome. I do plan on reading the manga though I was told that even XXXholic Kei cuts off too soon.
It became my favorite anime/manga of all time. I think you might be able to tell. *chuckles as he points his kiseru to the avatar to the left and signature to the south*
Ah, it really is a deep manga/anime. It touches base on philosophy and magic of the spiritual and essential sense.
In fact, I am writing an xxxHOLiC fanfic.
