As absurd as this may be, I actually support this.
Maybe some people will stop hacking your systems, Nintendo.

Well, it never made sense to me the reasons that region locks were implemented, except for that once upon a time it was to do with the difference in display formats different countries had (USA having NTSC, UK having PAL-50/60, Japan having NTSC-J, etc)
Although since the birth of the widescreen TV and the mainstream development of flat-screen TVs (which all use or support the same HD resolutions no matter what country) region-locking to prevent people finding their games wouldn't work on their TVs is now pointless. Only difference between an American HDTV and a British HDTV is the plug fitted to it and the voltage it accepts. They're all capable of 480p/720p/1080p at 60Hz. I think UK is the only country that still sells TVs with a 50/60Hz mode because our TV shows broadcast at 25fps still. For example my TV is natively 100Hz (double-buffered 50Hz display) but it obviously accepts a 60Hz signal as it works for PC, and for consoles.
so tl;dr region locking has long been pointless. I support this.
: The Game. You just lost it. :
My signature was so old it broke. RIP signature.
lol... You probably need more than just the White House to get rid of Region-Locking, I doubt they can or even would force game companies to do that though.
