I failed in spreading the word
I can't believe someone posted a thread on this. XD I've the same problem too. But I remember eavesdropping on my juniors (well, they were talking pretty loud) and hearing whether they were talking about anime. Well, they did, but the problem was... I was quite shy and didn't approach them. .___. But I swear this year I will ! *hold fists*
May peace bestow this world,
May our hearts unite.
Life may not be smooth as pearl,
But pray for our decisions to be always right.
Life may be hard, it's a big pain in the butt. But hey, who says behind all those pain, can't hide some happiness ?
One option that hasn't been mentioned is making a meetup.com group. I suppose I don't know if that works in Holland, but there are a number of websites like that and I wouldn't be surprised if there is some website copying it just for Holland. The upshot is that you create a group on a website where people can enter their zip code (or whatever you have there) and their interests to find out what groups are in their area and then join to attend events in real life.
Another option is to just make friends with people with hobbies that correlate with enjoying anime. Somebody into fantasy, Sci Fi, Pen and Paper RPGs, or who is just bookish in general (even just Romance books or whatever) might well also like anime/manga already, and if they don't there's a pretty good chance they'd take to it if you shared some that matches a genre they already like.

Walk into a large group of fellow students and pick your nose. You'll find out real quick who the other outcasts are!
I'm serious. Dig real deep.
