After taking a gander at that it seems this alignment is fairly routine and not even truly an alignment (as close as 6 degrees isnt very close and they say the sun has been closer to galactic center prior).

Actually one day, the world will end, either if we all get burned alive by a star, frozen over in an Ice age, or the sun finally burns out. It will happen.. I just don't think it's gonna be this year.

I have school tommorow, and we are pretty much gonna watch movies the whole time. :3 also at the end of the day, we get to watch the teachers make fools out of themselves XP It's a school tradition that they do some sort of challenge. They Mayan calender is set to a certain point, to which to calender is simply supposed to 'reset'. Think of it this way, you buy a calender system that has [random number] 24 years. Once you reach the end of the 24th year, you simply go back to the first one because the numbers will all fall on the same days again. Thats what the Mayans did with all their calenders, they filled them out until it reached a resetting point.

Well I'm confused now, thought the world was suppose to end just after my shift was over at 6:11 am here, but driving home the radio was saying 7:11pm tonight? I give up. Try to make plans for the end of the world and they can't get it right. Well might aswell take the chance to enjoy one last good brew. Opted for Dogfish Head's 90 minute Imperial IPA.
