What art project are you working on?

Not smudging itself if she's not using her fingers but fingers produce a natural oil which ruins them a bit. I use different types of paper after crosshatching to make it a solid shade. But this is just for graphite that i'm talking about. My finger oils have ruined pictures before and there is no way to remove the oil once it's there.

Lol only for pencil graphite. If a blending tool is used then it's ok. But doing it with fingers is pretty unprofessional. Info from (college art student/ pysch major) = on my way to being an art therapist.

Yeah, I get a piece of tissue, scrunch it up and rub with that to smudge. I find that kind of smudging very important when drawing realistic pictures, especially on skin. =]

Hmm that's a really cool idea. Maybe doing something like that will help me with proportions. =]

As for what i've been working on, for the last couple days it's been mostly anime/manga work. If anyone's interested jump over to the link in my sig to see any of it. I'm really trying to get better so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. =]

I got yelled at about posemaniacs by my teacher and a few people online, because apparently "their weight isn't distributed correctly" or something ;_;

Have a friend that is making a visual novel and has recruited me to head the graphics on the project, this sounds like it could be fun, yet very very tedious.
