How do I make a video game go full screen?
I have a ps3 and battlefield with it. It's widescreen not fullscreen unlike all the other games I have. How can I make battlefield full screen without ruining all the other games?

Sounds like it's letterboxing, in which case you are trying to play it on a 4:3 resolution (likely an old TV, which does not support widescreen or 720p/1080p.)

Looking in the PS3's display options on the home menu you might be able to find the options to 'choose' what resolutions your TV supports (I suppose 576i or 480i will be the only ones available?) but otherwise it may be that Battlefield does not support a 4:3 resolution and forces a widescreen view in-game (many new games do this).

If this makes sense. It might not.

But basically - it sounds like you either need to check your PS3's display settings, or invest in a HDTV and a HDMI cable or PS3 component cable to enable HD playback of games.
