there are some diffrences from the motion picture and the anime. in the motion picture there were thewer charitors and nagisa realey dies in the motion picture. id give my vote to the anime becouse it gives you a more charactors and in to there back stories

Sorry it was a little hard for me to understand what you were trying to say. And by motion picture do you mean the VN or the movie?

If you were comparing VN to the anime, I'd say I liked them equally but probably the VN a little more just because you can choose other routes to finish with
If you were comparing the anime to the movie, the anime hands down. I honestly did not like the movie at all. Not in the slightest.

The motion picture only covers the first season and has a sad ending, where the 2nd season of the anime series completes the whole series with a better ending.

the onley thing they kept from after story was ushio but in the movie nagisa realey did die

I definitely prefer the anime.

One,for the animation.It is obviously superior to the movie.

Second,and this is a spoiler,Nagisa comes back in the anime.I would be so depressed if she stayed dead.

And finally,the order I watched them.I saw the anime first,so I had a preferece to the show.Though,combining everything,the show is better.
