Lovely Complex is cute,Clannad and Clannad AS are perfect,Kaichou ha Maid-Sama (The President is a Maid!) is wonderfully romantic.Fruits Basket...isn't really a romance.It has it moments,but I would suggest the manga for more romance.Beast Master (there are two books) and I Am Here are really good romance mangas.

I feel a bit awkward since no one else mentioned it, but I thought Ah! My Goddess was pretty good (and funny!).

I also liked Vandread ... but it's also very strange (and funny!).

Fruits Basket is also pretty good ... but it's not nearly as unusual as the first two I mentioned.

To be honest, I'm just in it for the unusual Animes and I don't pay too much attention to the genres. Where else could watch a show about dating a goddess, or a universe where there are planets exclusive to either men or women ... and the zodiac stuff kinda ...
