I sit against my bed with a pillow and a super cold slushie. I stretch during cutscenes or long loading screens, and if it's cold I'll grab a blanket.
My partner and I live with his parents, so all our stuff is crammed into one room (which makes 3 TVs, 2 PS3s, a laptop and a gaming computer an interesting fit...). He has his gaming chair (one of those weird round chair things), and I have my gaming comp and the TV/Monitor and my PS3 set up at the end of the bed.... Then I use the 14 pillows, and 6 cushions to make one really comfy sofa Plus I have the blankets, so I stay all nice and warm ^^
You should never be comfortable!!! I just keep switching which way I lay on the couch or sit on my chair. Little bit of cardio as I game haha.

I have a nice comfortable chair.
I have a large velvet blanket that shrouds me in ecstasy while i'm playin Eden Eternal, WoW or maplestory @.@
Well if I plan to play for long hours like 7-10+ hours I'll use my dad office/work chair it's really really comfy you can plug in an outlet and it produce tiny vibrations it's like a massage chair...... or if not I'll use my foot massage pad or even a small pillow will do the trick...... or you could just do the basic and common way (just take a break for about 5-15 mins and stretch out so that your legs and back won't hurt after long hours of playing......)
Sitting back on a Office chair
I sit by my desk in a comfy office chair thing, with a blanket under me(I'm short so my head doesn't reach the headrest thing on the back of the chair without something under my butt :P), plus the blanket makes it so my butt doesn't hurt so much when sitting for many hours xD
Got my feet up on the desk, well not quite, got them inside this little room under the top plate of the desk, don't know what it's for really :P
I might go lay in my bed sometimes, if there's nothing interesting going on on my laptop.
I might not catch everything that happens in a game when I sit in my chair though, since I tend to look over to the laptop and surf forums :P
I try not to though hehe.
When I play the handheld, I sit curled up on my couch and play with my legs crossed so I don't have to worry about holding it the whole time. When playing the Wii I stand up. When playing the 360 I have to concentrate A LOT. So I put a stick of Pocky in my mouth and sit on my floor on my knees. After that, I'm ready to play.
When I do play videogames (which I haven't done in a very long time) I just sit down whether it be on the sofa, floor, or my spiny chair.

I mainly computer game (even when I'm on the PS3, it's hooked up to one of my rig's monitors) so I invested in a great chair and make sure all my screens are at about eye level. I'm not sure how many people realize how easy it is to naturally slouch at their computers and develop nagging back pains and pinches even at a young age. Trying to save myself some grief. Even the distance between you and the monitor matters. Too close and you start twisting and turning, while too far might cause you to subconsciously crane the neck forward. Ah yes, and take breaks. I gotta get up and stretch my legs at least 5-10 minutes for every couple of hours of gaming or desk work. Helps immensely.
