User Maps.

I was wondering if there was a way to disable yourself off the User Maps.
I just found it surprising you could find out where a member is currently residing.
By looking at someone's location and if they say the country where they are staying, you could easily deduce which pinpoint they are. (Obviously they need to be online)
You could find out their exact location.
I just found it a tad intrusive.
If you can't disable me off then no worriesxD

1. Didn't even know this feature existed till you pointed it out.
2. It's pretty anonymous, Even if you tell what country/state you live in you can't tell who is who.
3. I don't even show up at all on the map.

GPS systems are only accurate to within 10ft. So no worries

because, people are incredibly dumb and would get very confused if you're 10ft away from where the GPS said you were supposed to be. Sooooo you're safe! lol

it doesn't actually work. I just tried finding myself and apparently I don't exist.

I tried the other day and I managed to hone in on someone who was in Bristol in a hotel.

That's weird.
Maybe you've got a GPS blocker enabled on your browser.
People use it so they can watch movies which only are limited to other countries.

... Yeah, apparently that thing thinks I'm a 'registered user' and not a moderator. so ... have fun figuring out which of the many markers is in fact mine.

There's usually like 3 markers on the map for registered users in England at any one time.
Deducting 1, it won't be that hardxD

That thing is far from accurate. The only reliable information is the state and country. My location doesn't even show the correct city, so I wouldn't worry about you being tracked down.
