Shoujo?

This is a "kill-two-birds-with-one-stone" thread for me.

Firstly,I want to know everyone's opinion on Shoujo romance animes.My most trusted anime friend,who has literally watched every anime I have,and more,says she hates it,with the exception of Maid-Sama! and Clannad (Thank god!).

I just wanted to know what you guys think.I personally love the way the genre feels,and from watching two (The above mentioned Maid-Sama! and Clannad) and reading one manga (The one I read is called I Am Here!),I want more.NOW.

The other bird is that I want some recommendations.I have asked in THREE recommendation threads,and no has replied,and I am desprate for some new romance!So please,please answer my cry of help!If they are like Maid-Sama! or Clannad,that would be preferable (And don't say Kanon,Air or Angel Beats.I plan on getting to those in my own time.)

I love shoujo personally. It's a cute feel good genre. So what if a lot of them are a little cheesy and cliche but that's what make them fun to read/watch for me.
There are some that have their own unique attributes that make them like none other.

I am a HUGE fan of Kaichou wa Maid-sama! ^_^

As for suggestions... Idk what you've watched but I'll just suggest everything shoujo I watched and really liked xD

Beast Master is soooo cute! ^_^
I liked the Lovely Complex manga a bit more even though the anime followed the manga quite well though the episode past 21 were kind of pointless to me xD
It was funny though.

Yes! Kaichou is amazing! I own it on DVD ^_^

You are so lucky!I saw Maid-sama in the store,but it was $70----for the first half,not on Blu-ray,with no special features!I love it,but that was too much.

I will,but right now I'm in debt of my parents because of the book fair and a copy of Hetalia:World Series,and the rest of my allowance is going towards Chrsitmas gifts.

Maybe I can get it for Chirstmas....(I almost literally never ask for anything,oddly enough to the chagrin of my mother,so I should have no problem getting it.)

Ebay...I am planning ordering some things on Amazon,so I might end up getting it there.Thanks again!

I just finished more than hal fof Lovely Complex.I aplogize for doubting.I didn't like the comedy too much,but it was still very sweet,cute,endearing,and at time funny.The art style,which I disliked at first,really grew on me.It actually sticks really close to the orignal manga stlye,which so few animes do!Thank you for recommending that!

Awesome! Yeah I liked how the arc was practically the same as the manga. I enjoyed more of the comedy but that's just me. I still think it had a cute story and that was my favorite part You're welcome!

I have tried Toradora several times,and still haven't enjoyed it.I'll give it another chance,since everywhere I see its recomended.

I am enjoyingFruits Basket,though the concept itself is a bit silly.

Both Yuki and Kyo are stereotypical anime guys,but Kyo has gotten more personality out of the deal.Where Yuki is "the nice huy with secrets",with Kyo,he's more like anger issuesbut truely just wants everyone happy.He finally opens up after meeting Tohru an dyou find other faucets of his character.Yuki stays Yuki.

I love this anime,and I had plenty of fangirl squeal moments,though,for shoujo,I feel mislead.

*SPOILERS*

They set her up for Yuki,then go "Nope,we lied." I am glad my pairing suceeded,but did they have to tease me like that?Even i that element is more present in the manga.
