I dunno. I'm used to it looking like this. Maybe they forced an upgrade on you. Did you ever see a bar above your channel page saying the layout would change on a certain date?

No it was just the same thing the whole time T_T so I don't know how to use it and i got it late.

It's going to be really annoying for a while. Your favorites and stuff will pop up on the bottom in this bar thingy while watching a video, friends don't matter anymore, etc. It's basically the same thing but different layout.

Funny thing is that Youtube looks different on my desktop than it does my laptop. WTF? I'd post screenshots but eh ... that involves turning my laptop on, and I'm going grocery shopping in 20 minutes so =P

A few days ago, Youtube had a different layout where it was a pain to find your favorites and some other stuff. It also had the black Google bar. However, now it is backed to the old layout.
