Beiber has 787,000,000 views and is in number one, gangdamn style only has 423,000,000 view and is at number 9. If you want to beat Beiber, youre going to need to do a lot more than just a day of repeating Psy's video

I hate justin bieber but actually I'm not a fan of gangnam style... So you can call this an half support.

Because it does? Its the Korean equivalent of swag, the lyrics are supposed to be Oppa [big brother] Gangnam Style [has a high-life style]
http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/gangnam-style“Gangnam Style” is a Korean neologism referring to the upscale fashion and lavish lifestyle associated with trendsetters in Seoul’s Gangnam district (강남), which is considered the most affluent part of the metropolitan area. In colloquial usage, it is comparable to the English slang terms “swag” or “yolo”.

Saw Psi on Good Morning America couple weeks back and they asked him what meant. He explained it along the lines of "dressing classy and dancing cheesy". Of course there was a mild language barrier and I was multi-tasking, so I may have it wrong.![]()

since when does being gay (Swag originally stood for "Secretly, We Are Gay" back in the 60s) and dressing like a clown translate to "high-life" style? I must have missed a memo. Because last i checked, most of the people bragging about their "SWAG" were high school boys who are supported almost entirely by their parents. Thats not very "high-life."
Even the article you posted refers to Gangnam Style asgotta remember what swag really isUpscale Fashion and Lavish lifestyle
low-class ghetto crap that children find "cool"

Don't. Maru is wrong. Swag is NOT a High-life style. Its a ghetto-thug lifestyle.

First, most of the terms used in the 60s no longer have the same meanings, so that point is moot. Second-
“Swag” is an internet slang term often found in comments, discussion forums and image macros used as a synonym for “swagger,” a type of style or presence that exudes confidence and is sometimes interpreted as arrogance.Swag was around WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before the 60s and had nothing to do with homosexuality. Today one of its meanings is the style and attitude someone has.According to the Online Etymogoly Dictionary[1], the word “swag” originated sometime in the 1520s and meant “to move heavily or unsteadily.” It may have been a derivative of the verb “swing”, which originated from the word “sway”[2] around 1300, meaning “to go, glide, move.”
In modern context, “swag” may be used as a business lingo for promotional merchandise[4] but its popular online usage has been largely attributed to its root word “swagger,” which Merriam-Webster Dictionary[13] defines as:
1 : to conduct oneself in an arrogant or superciliously pompous manner; especially : to walk with an air of overbearing self-confidence
2 : Boast, brag
The earliest documented use of “swagger” can be found in the text of English poet William Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream[3] written sometime between 1590 and 1596.
What hempen home-spuns have we swaggering here,
So near the cradle of the fairy queen?
