I need one. like right meow.
Every tablet I've ever gotten was terrible, they seem good right away but if you've ever had a desktop experience it's just crap. My computer is from 2005 and I love it more than my Playbook, Galaxy Tab, and iPads I have had before. I have literally given up on tablets.

My niece got a Google Nexus tablet. I actually like the tablet itself and I see a lot of good reviews of the tablet. Personally, if you don't want to hurt your wallet, you can purchase it. I'm not a tablet user unless I have to check out something real quick and whatnot.
At first, I thought you mean a drawing tablet (if it is what you mean), then I highly recommend an intuos4 Wacom tablet. :3 I use it and I love it like my baby~
Please tell me she has a (screen covering) case for the tablet, the glass on the Nexus series is REALLY REALLY fragile. I managed to shatter EVERY single part of my Nexus 7 screen in one drop.
Anyways, for the OP: Depends on what you want. Despite the screen issues, the Nexus line of Android tablets are very good (buy a case). The 10 is better if you want video (though, yes, the iPad 2's screen is better when it comes to 10" tablets, but that's a 300 dollar premium.), the 7 is more usable (imo) day to day use. In terms of media, the Amazon Fire HD has better media features (stereo speakers, better screen), but is locked down in terms of the "Android" distro on it.
Less is more.
The Nexus 6 is the most advanced self-aware A.I. on the market.
