DeathBlade was one of the many brought before Théoden, King of Rohan. There had been rumours of members of The Enemy still at large, parading around unseen among the common folk. Within this group of suspicious citizens was DenjaX and Dark Butterfly. The onlookers at Helms Deep watched apprehensively, jeering the most as DeathBlade approached the King.
'You have caused quite a stir among my people,' The King told him, staring at him carefully. DeathBlade remained silent, twirling a small coin feverishly in the palm of his hands, which were bound behind his back.
The King moved next, to DenjaX. 'The men disapprove of your actions as well,' he said. Denja made a slight shrug of his shoulders, barely suppressing a sly grin.
Finally, Théoden moved in front of Dark Butterfly, who was cloaked in a thick black robe which hide the whole of her face and body from view. 'You are the same, misleading my people and disrupting our attempts at finding The Enemy. Do you side with Sauron?
Dark Butterfly kept her head low, unspeaking.
'Very well then,' Théoden said, unsheathing his sword. 'You are no longer needed by the Alliance of the Free Peoples. May the spirit of Isildur lead your soul to rest...!'
Dark Butterfly raised her head, and a glint of a ghostly smirk appeared from beneath her hood. 'By Isildur?' She said, chuckling. 'Well now, if that isn't the best news I've heard all day. So be it, my King. By the will of Isildur, King of Gondor, the man who deprived me of my own freedom since the Great Battle... I will find my rest!'
Her robe fell through her incorporeal body, revealing her true appearance. Before Théoden could bring down his sword, and before the onlooking watchers could react, she disappeared, leaving the crowd in a stunned silence.
