Is it bad to ship fanon couples?

I am asking this because a girl on Fanpop is being a total jerk about me liking a pairing that isn't canon.(Though hers is only even semi-canon!)Though its really her problem,it really hurts...*pouting in corner growing mushrooms like Tamaki*

I am mainly talking about Hetalia,but any anime is fine too.I just need moral supports from the people here,because here everyone is nice and not a bitchy fangirl.Now,I am going to go back and have a Latvia moment in the corner*goes in coorner and cries*

(Especially crack yaoi,because that is what she whines about most.)

And Fanon is the opposite. Its a pairing that can't be considered Canon.

1. Find a heavy piece of mining equipment.

as for yaoi crack pairings I pretty much NEVER ship yaoi couples (grosses me out sorry lol) but I do like to make up really weird slash yaoi pairings to laugh at with my friend...

3. Who cares what that person thinks? Just ignore her and keep shipping those ships. She has no saying in the matter of what you like.

Because, who is she to decides things like that? Seriously speaking, Hetalia is not anti-yaoi. My own country Sweden is actually even a confirmed homosexual. She is just complaining over a thing that is nothing really to complain about, she is just too much of a fangirl for her own good and takes it too personal. I mean, lol, it's not even real people it's just anime/manga characters.

Shipping is shipping. It's an opinion. If she can't handle that than boo on her. I for one don't really ship any couple; I just don't really care. xD If I hear of a good doujinshi then I usually check it out just out of curiosity, even if I haven't given much thought on the pairing itself.

 

Like "Der Erste Stern" which is GermanyXItaly and "The Shinigami Series" which is PrussiaXItaly and SpainXRomano from Hetalia.

I do however get irritated when I hear about a fanon pairing that is NOTHING BUT the smex. I like plot, kthx. If there's not an interesting backstory or reasoning behind the relationship, then I just ignore it for the most part.

As for crack pairings, I've seen plenty, so nothing comes across as a surprise. Rofl. That girl must be new to the whole "shipping" scene.
